Author Guidelines

1. General Information

  • The Journal of Industrial Science, Management, and Geography (JSIMG) accepts research articles and literature reviews relevant to the journal’s focus and scope.

  • Manuscripts may be written in Indonesian or English.

  • Submitted manuscripts must be original, unpublished, and not under review elsewhere.

  • No article processing charges (APC) are applied to authors.

2. Manuscript Structure

Manuscripts should follow this structure:

  • Title: concise and clear, maximum of 20 words.

  • Author(s) and Affiliation: full name(s) without academic titles, institutional affiliation, and corresponding email address.

  • Abstract: written in both Indonesian and English (max. 200 words), including objectives, methods, results, and conclusion.

  • Keywords: 3–5 relevant keywords.

  • Introduction

  • Methods

  • Results and Discussion

  • Conclusion

  • Acknowledgements (if applicable)

  • References

3. Formatting Requirements

  • The manuscript must be in Microsoft Word format (.doc/.docx).

  • Manuscript length: 6–15 pages, including figures and tables.

  • A4 paper size, standard margins, 1.15 line spacing, font Times New Roman 11 pt.

  • Citations and references must follow the latest edition of the APA (American Psychological Association) style.

4. Figures and Tables

  • Figures and tables must be numbered and captioned clearly.

  • They should be placed close to the relevant text.

  • The source must be cited if taken from another publication.

5. Submission Process

  • Manuscripts must be submitted through the Open Journal Systems (OJS) available on the journal’s official website.

  • Authors are required to register an account and follow the submission guidelines.

6. Peer Review Process

  • All manuscripts undergo a double-blind peer review by at least two reviewers.

  • The editorial team may edit the manuscript for clarity without altering the content.

  • The final decision (accept, revise, or reject) rests with the editorial board.
